- How many people can Springfield Linney accommodate?
Springfield Linney can comfortably accommodate up to four in two bedrooms. An infant in cot is also more than welcome.
- How many bedrooms are at Springfield Linney?
There are two bedrooms at Springfield Linney, one is a double and the other is a double/twin with handy zip and link beds.
- How many bathrooms are at Springfield Linney?
There are two bathrooms at the cottage, the first is an en-suite to bedroom one and fitted with a shower, the second is next door to Bedroom 2 and has a bath with shower overhead.
- Is Spingfield Linney dog friendly?
One dog is welcome at Springfield Linney. We ask that dogs are kept out of the bedrooms and off the furniture. Please note we would also ask that dogs supervise dogs and clean up after them.
- Is there a charge for dogs?
Dogs are charged at an additional £50.00. Please note only one dog is accepted at the cottage no matter what their size.
- Is there a wood burner at the cottage?
Yes, there is a wood burner at the cottage located in the cottage. An initial supply of wood is provided.
- Is the garden enclosed?
Yes, the garden at Springfield Linney is enclosed with fencing around the edge and a gate separating it from the car parking area. Please note there is livestock in the neighbouring fields so dogs should be supervised when in the garden.
- Where is the hot tub?
The garden is located to the side of the cottage and has some wonderful views of the estuary.
- Is there a BBQ?
Yes a charcoal BBQ is provided and can be used on the main terrace area.
- What features can be found in the cottage?
In the kitchen there is an electric cooker with hob, a microwave, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster.
- Is there off road car parking?
Yes, there is off road car parking for two cars.
- What is the heating at the cottage?
The cottage has underfloor heating, as well as a wood burning stove.
- Are there local walks from the cottage?
Yes there are plenty of local walks with a footpath easily accessed from the cottage.
- Where is the nearest pub?
There are several nearby pubs, including the Williams Arms in Braunton, which is 4 miles away, Heanton Court is 2.5 miles and Muddiford Inn around 3 miles.
- How far is the beach?
Saunton is just six miles away from the cottage. Croyde is 7.5 miles and Woolacombe 8 miles.
- Can we get an online grocery order?
Yes, all major supermarkets will deliver to the cottage.
- Where is the local shop?
The local shops are in Braunton, which are only 4 miles away. Barnstaple also has all the major supermarkets and several smaller shops, which are about 4-5 miles from the cottage.
- How do we book Springfield Linney?
Booking Springfield Linney is quick and easy with our online availability and booking page. Just select your arrival day followed by the number of nights. A ‘Book Now’ button will appear - please click on this to be directed to the online booking form.
- What do you need to secure a booking?
We require a 30% deposit along with a 2% booking fee to secure a booking. The outstanding balance is then due eight weeks prior to arrival.
- What payment methods are accepted?
We are happy to accept payment via credit/debit card, cheque, PayPal and cheque.
- When is the refundable security deposit due?
The £200.00 refundable security deposit is due eight weeks prior to arrival alongside the balance.
- What is the booking fee?
A 2% booking fee is taken with the deposit, this is to cover the administration and processing of the booking.
- When will the security deposit be returned?
The security deposit is normally returned with seven working days of your departure.
- Do you accept short breaks?
Yes, short breaks are accepted outside of the school holidays.
- What is your arrival day?
Our standard arrival day is a Friday, however, we can be more flexible in the quiet season.
- What is your arrival and departure time?
Our arrival time is 3pm and our departure time is 10am.
- What facilities are provided for babies?
A travel cot and a high chair can be requested in advance of your arrival at no additional cost.
